Hi Mike, in this next version you can use 14 days of the Professional version and if you like it, make a donation and you will have the final license. This way I think more people will be interested in MeshMolder. The freeware version is very limited and has some bugs already fixed. I hope people use my software more and are able to test all the tools and their potential.

The most basic hair fiber has 10 vertices and 16 faces. You will be able to choose the number of threads, thickness and type. The average person has 125,000 hairs, considering that a mesh with this number of hairs would have 2 million polygons. My machine has worked with mesh sizes of 50 million or more. I have 16GB of memory. But there are techniques to cover the area with thicker threads and avoid an excessive amount of memory.

Meshrender doesn't use OpenCL, it uses CPU and Opengl. Regarding the PVR texture format, who knows in the evolution of MeshRender this possibility may arise.

Hello Alexander, bumps-brush would be an idea for later on, at this first moment there is still a lot to do, it will be an intuitive and limited renderer.
